How to transcribe a voice recording

Use a recording you already have, from your phone's voice recorder, Voice Memos or a WhatsApp voice note, or record from your microphone in Scriptivox. Upload it and Scriptivox writes out what was said, with timestamps and speaker labels, in more than 100 languages.

    1. Get the recording

Find it in your phone's voice recorder or Voice Memos, save the voice note from the chat, or press Record in Scriptivox.

    2. Upload it

Drop the file in (M4A, MP3, WAV, OPUS, OGG, AMR and most other formats) and pick its language, or let Scriptivox detect it.

    3. Use the text

Read and search the transcript, jump to any moment from a word, get a summary, and export it to PDF, DOCX, TXT or subtitles.
