    How to transcribe an interview

Record the interview on your phone, a recorder or a video call, then upload the file. Scriptivox writes out the conversation with each speaker labelled and timestamps, in more than 100 languages, so you can quote, code and share it.

    1. Record the interview

Use your phone, a dedicated recorder, or the recording Zoom, Teams or Google Meet saves. Keep the microphone close to everyone who speaks.

    2. Upload with speaker recognition

Drop in the file (MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4 and most other formats), pick the language, and switch on speaker recognition so each voice gets its own label.

    3. Quote and analyse

Rename the speakers, search for a theme, jump to any moment from a word, and export to DOCX, PDF, TXT, CSV or subtitles.
