    Academic transcription

    How academic transcription works

Upload a lecture, seminar, supervision meeting or research interview and Scriptivox writes it out with timestamps and a label for each speaker. Name the speakers, search the text, and export it for your notes, your thesis or your coding software.

    1. Upload the recording

Audio or video from a phone, a recorder, Zoom or your lecture platform (MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4 and most other formats).

    2. Check the speakers

Rename each speaker label to the interviewer, participant or lecturer, and play back any line to check a quote.

    3. Export it

Download DOCX or PDF for reading and quoting, TXT for plain text, or CSV with timestamps and speakers for analysis.
